The following is a brief
summary of my work history and what I consider the most important aspects of my
personal history.
I have resided in
Lillington, North Carolina for most of my life.
I graduated from Lillington
High School.
I
attended Campbell College for one year and graduated from Sandhills Community
College with an assoc. degree in general education.
My job history revolves mostly around business related
positions.
I started in Building Construction and worked my way from
a laborer to
Field
Superintendent status.
Experience in
field and office operations running a property surveying services
business and all operations in relation to payroll and
filing reports, with 15 +-
years in the field.
I have been a cad technician with surveying and
engineering companies
for the last 12+
yrs, with experience in C&G, DCA ,Autocad & Softdesk.
I have much experience in boundary, subdivision
work. Recently with site plan,
ALTA surveys and engineering drawings. I have been
employed with
Aiken & Yelle Engineers Surveyors in Raleigh NC for
almost 6 years.
I enjoy working with computers, am familiar with windows,
dos
and with several applications. I have done course work in
Lotus,
and Microsoft Office. I have recently taken A+ course
work and plan
to obtain my A+ certification. I can build, repair and
upgrade computers.
I use to have a
Real Estate license and have taken courses to take my brokers
exam. I have a
3.42 point average at Central Carolina
Community College
where I took most of my real estate courses. This gives
me a great help in dealing
with customers and valuable knowledge in real estate
law.
My personal history
I am an Elder in the Presbyterian Church USA.
I was elected president of the Men of the Church of
Fayetteville
Presbytery.
Served on the board of directors of the Kiwanis Club for
four
years and was elected President.
Program chairman for North Carolina Synod Men's
Conference of the Men
of the Church for the Presbyterian Church in North Carolina.
I think my personal history
is useful to the extent that it is indicative of the confidence that people
have in me personally and also indicates my ability to get along with other
people in different situations.
